Design & Ergonomics

Signature KTM styling with exposed trellis frame and minimal bodywork. Rider ergonomics are sporty but usable — split seat, firm support and a riding position tailored for quick direction changes and committed cornering.

Engine & Performance

Engine type: 2-cylinder, 4-stroke, DOHC parallel twin displacing 889 cc. Output is 121 PS (≈119 hp) at 9,250 rpm and 99 Nm at 7,750 rpm. Bore x stroke is 90.7 x 68.8 mm with a 13.5:1 compression ratio. Cooling is via liquid with water/oil heat exchanger and fuel supply is electronic injection.

Clutch is a mechanically operated PASC anti-hopping unit. Transmission is a 6-speed (1 down, 5 up) — Quickshifter+ present for clutchless shifts. Top speed: ~230 km/h. Real-world mileage averages around 21 km/l.

Handling & Chassis

Chromium-molybdenum-steel frame using the engine as a stressed element; powder coated for durability. WP Apex 43 mm USD fork with 140 mm travel and WP Apex monoshock (150 mm travel) provide a wide range of tuneability for road and track.

Wheelbase is 1,482 mm providing a stable platform; geometry and suspension allow rapid direction changes while remaining planted at speed.

Braking

Dual 320 mm Brembo Stylema monobloc discs up front with 4-piston radially mounted calipers and Bosch 9.1 MP ABS (cornering + supermoto mode). Rear is a 240 mm Brembo disc with single-piston floating caliper. Excellent modulation and high-speed stability under braking.
